Information related to the scope of the NPI ČR is provided in accordance with act no. 106/1999 coll., On free access to information. If, according to this act, the reasons for refusing to provide information are not fulfilled and if a longer period is not agreed, the information is provided within 15 days from the date of receipt of the written request.

In accordance with § 17, the NPI ČR may reserve the right to claim reimbursement of costs incurred in connection with the provision of information. The applicant will be informed of the specific amount of these costs before the information is provided.

Zdeněk Smrčka

Head of laboratory

A passionate Mathematical Physicist, who loves to work with children and adults and likes to share his knowledge.

I graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics in Prague in two fields: General Informatics and Mathematics and Informatics focused on education. For many years I have been working for the Talnet project under NIDV at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports as the Administrator and Administrator of Talent Center applications, coordinator and instructor of courses for inquisitive and gifted youth interested in natural and technical sciences. I am also a guarantor and lecturer of professional computer science, mathematics, technical circles and courses within Intellectus.

Since 2019, I have been in charge of the management and development of the DATEL digital and technological laboratory within the Talent Support System at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, which focuses on supporting teachers and students interested in technology. At the same time, we also want support in working with gifted students.

It is important for me that students enjoy the topic and learn at the same time.

Michal Hloušek

Activity tester and maker

I am a student of information technology at ČVUT. Since high school, I have been actively trying to pass on my knowledge as efficiently as possible. Under the auspices of Intellectus, I run hobby groups, workshops and summer camps for inquisitive students. At the same time, I try to pass on my teaching experience to others, by creating materials from which other lecturers can draw.

In my free time I devote myself to programming and system administration in companies, where I further educate new employees and lead workshops aimed at high school and university students interested in automation and cloud technologies.

Bohumila Potočná

Technical support of activities

I currently study Cybernetics and Robotics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University (ČVUT) in Prague. At NIDV, I help manage online courses for the Talnet project, in which I previously participated as a student.

I think, for the future, it is important to encourage children's interest in science and technology, and I am happy to be able to contribute to that.
